Republican Congressman Mike Pence attacked a $26 billion state aid bill, passed by the House, that will help states avoid laying off teacher, firefighters, and other public employees. Pence attacked the bill for supposedly not being “paid for,” falsely claiming that using the stimulus funds was merely “borrowing” from one credit card to another.
